This was a garden that required a complete design as the garden was completely unusable and unsafe for my clients and their children. The brief stipulated that there was need for an entertaining area. I advised them to have it at the back of the garden because it would make the family use the full extent of the garden space, with a built in BBQ area, bespoke built table and seating and raised planters. As my client had three children they also wanted a substantial area of lawn, but I was able to plant along the edge partly to screen some of the newly erected contemporary style slatted fencing that was along all three sides of the garden.
